Studiezalen roughly translates into study rooms. The second floor of Station Wildeman in Amsterdam is occuppied by this organisation. Studiezalen creates an environment where children can learn and develop.

The transformation of the third floor kickstarted the redevelopment of the entire building that will function as a community center at the heart of the neighbourhood. While my colleagues at BETA focused on the full, long-term plan for Station Wildeman I designed the refit of the second floor and managed it's construction.

Studiezalen put the space to good use while the rest of the plans was being developed. They spearheaded the adoption of the repurposed building by the neighbourhood.
